Denavir (penciclovir topical) is a powerful topical cream that contains antiviral properties which fight the herpes virus in cold sores and lessen the duration of the symptoms and can even prevent reoccurrences.

There currently no known medications that interact with Denavir topical cream. However, it is advised that you refrain from using other topical creams or lotions on the affected area during the treatment period.
